In reading Ephesians 3:10 I developed a few questions that I need to wrestle with…
#1 - If it is God’s purpose for His church to display His wisdom…then shouldn’t I always be more passionate about what HE wants to say to our church rather than what may draw a crowd? (By the way…I personally think that what HE wants to say will always draw a crowd!!!)
#2 - If it is God’s purpose for His church to display His wisdom…then shouldn’t I continually be uncompromising God’s Word…even when I know it is going to make people feel incredibly uncomfortable?
#3 - If it is God’s purpose for His church to display His wisdom…then shouldn’t I be passionate about preaching the GOSPEL to as many people as possible? Why in the world would He not want people to know?
#4 - If it is God’s purpose for His church to display His wisdom…then shouldn’t I be OBSESSED with learning as much as I can through reading the Scriptures AND studying culture?
#5 - If it is God’s purpose for His church to display His wisdom…then shouldn’t I always keep the main thing the main thing? OR said another way…should I not continually strive to have a laser like focus on Jesus and NEVER allow anything to become more important than the Gospel? (Like programs and traditions and such…)
