What’s That One Thing In Your Heart…

James 4:13-14
13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

Dear leader…

What’s that ONE THING in your heart?  

You know, “that thing” that you think about but never talk about!  

“That thing” that keeps you up at night!  

“That thing:” you want to attempt - but - you feel it would be an impossibility?  

“That thing” you never really talk to about to anyone for fear they may think you are crazy, list the reasons you could never do it and crush your dream. 

What’s that ONE THING in your heart?  

The reason I’m asking is - WHAT IF God put it there?  

WHAT IF God wants you to take a step of faith?  

WHAT IF God wants to do something so incredible through you that only HE will get the glory for it?  

WHAT IF you are allowing other people to talk you out of what God is trying to talk you into?   

Often times we cannot hear HIM because we spend so much time listening to “them!”  (Never allow anyone who has never accomplished anything tell you all of the reasons you have to settle for the way things are.)  

I believe you can do EXACTLY what God has called you to do!  

I also believe He has NOT called His followers to dream small dreams and attempt thing that are even smaller.  
Jesus said in Matthew 17:20…
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

I didn’t say that - Jesus - the One who rose from the dead and lives in you, said it!  

If nothing is impossible and Jesus uses people to accomplish the incredible - then why not you, and why not now?  

MAYBE it’s time to allow that “one thing” to become “the main thing” and pursue it with all your heart!
