What A Day!
WOW—I have always wanted to ride a Harley on stage…today I lived that dream! It was so much fun—and you have no idea how I begged God to not let me pop the clutch…I can just see the poor people in the front row now!
I felt that today at NewSpring was one of those days that we will look back on and say, “remember the day that we did the generosity sermon.” Seriously—I felt that people were fired up! We literally had a group of people leave the first service…go and buy grocery store cards…and then bring them back.
AND it was reported that one grocery store near the church had already sold out of grocery store gift cards by this afternoon!
(For those wondering what in the world I am talking about…I did a message on generosity today and challenged people that there are people in our community that can’t afford groceries…and then I asked everyone to purchase a grocery card when they go to the store and bring it next week and put it in the offering bag when it goes by—that way when people call our church we have something to give them!)
I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next. I made some phone calls today about church planting overseas and I found out that in one particular foreign country we can plant a church for $5,000! I think we should go ahead and commit to 10 right off the bat!

Thanks to everyone who prayed for me. I am feeling better…not quite at 100% yet—but getting there. My ear isn’t hurting anymore…but there is this ringing in it that just won’t go away.
I am praying I sleep tonight…I am so jacked up from today that its going to take awhile for me to calm down!!!
