First of all—WOW…wasn’t Sunday incredible? Holy Cow! It was a holiday weekend and there were still nearly 6,000 people here. And that last song…all I can say is that anytime you can work trash cans into a praise and worship song…it HAS to be good!
I wanted to just hit a few highlights…
Tomorrow night is First Wednesday! Remember—it begins at 6:30…and in our attempt to keep things consistently inconsistent…well…I think you will enjoy it.
This Sunday Dr. John Maxwell will be speaking. TRUST ME…you don’t want to miss this guy. He has been a tremendous influence on me and I think you will see why when you show up this weekend. Get here early, I promise we will be slammed.
On Sunday, September 17th we will change our service time for the first service from 9:30 to 9:15…this will allow for an easier transition time between our two services. I know it’s a little earlier…but if Jesus rose from the dead you can get out of bed—come on, it will be fun!
On that Sunday we will also begin a new series entitled “MySpace.” In this series I am praying for hundreds of people to come to Christ. I promise you that September 24th will be one of the most direct and powerful presentations of the Gospel that you have ever seen…go ahead and begin inviting your friends to be here that day!! AND PRAY!!!
