Questions Follow Up

Wow—some great questions so far—here are some of the ones that I have just loved…

“Will You Marry Me?” This one was sent in by several women…yep, I guess this is pretty life changing. Also one single lady sent it in and said that she hasn’t been asked yet—but she’s pretty sure it will change her life!

“Should we get a second opinion?” Asked by a young lady who was experiencing tremendous pain and was told that it wasn’t nothing to worry about—but decided to get a second opinion and came to discover that her appendix had ruptured. Needless to say she had to undergo surgery and today she’s as good as new!

“So, are you ready to be a daddy?” This one hasn’t crossed my path yet—but I am sure it will change my life!

“What are you doing after college?” This is especially confusing—especially for history majors!

“Why do you want to stay at home with your kids?” This lady had an incredible response…but the bottom line was that she felt like it was a calling…and she’s beginning to see the fruit of her efforts.

And finally—this was an e-mail I received that was one of my favorites…thank God for our troops…

HERE WAS TWO QUESTIONS THAT WAS ASKED TO ME DURING AN INTERVIEW BY A TELEVISION REPORTER UPON RETURNING FROM IRAQ ... DO YOU MARINES KNOW THE RISK THAT YOU ARE TAKING BY BEING OVER THERE AND DO YOU THINK YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

I ANSWERED THIS WAY… WE JOINED THE MARINES KNOWING THE RISK. THOSE INNOCENT PEOPLE IN NEW YORK DIDN’T GO TO WORK THINKING THERE WAS ANY KIND OF RISK THAT IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO SO PEOPLE WANT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE RISK…. AND THE SECOND PART I ANSWERED WITH A FAVORITE QUOTE OF MINE, ” SOME PEOPLE SPEND AN ENTIRE LIFETIME WONDERING IF THEY MADE A DIFFERENCE. THE MARINES DON’T HAVE THAT PROBLEM.” PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN 1995
