House Campus Pastors

Howdy NewSpring!

In February we announced where the next eight NewSpring Church campuses are going to be across the state of South Carolina, and we’re PUMPED about all that Jesus is going to use us to do in these communities!

With 4 of these new campuses, we’re going to do something we’ve never done before, and so I wanted to take a few minutes to explain more about it and introduce you to the leaders of these campuses.

This year we kicked off our 15th year as a church, and in celebrating that we started to think back on how this whole thing started… just 15 people in a living room. We’ve been able to celebrate some really incredible things over the past 15 years, and one of the reasons I think we’ve been able to do all we’ve done is because of the way we started.

We were just 15 people in a living room asking ourselves “What If…?”

“What if we created an environment where lost people feel welcome?”

“What if we start a church where people who have walked away from Jesus could come home?”

“What if we trust the promise in Ephesians 3:20 that the Lord has immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine?!?”

So, we started thinking. There is so much more that we want Jesus to use us to do to reach 100,000 people in our state- which means we need to reach more communities. We started asking ourselves “What if…?” again.

“What if we could go ahead and get our feet on the ground in some of the communities that we know we’re called to reach?”

“What if we sent some of our staff  into these communities and they start watching services in a living room again?”

“What could the Lord use these House Campuses to do?”

So we’re going for it. Our Rock Hill, Sumter, Aiken, and Hilton Head campuses are getting a unique start, and we can’t wait to see all the Lord is going to do in and through these House Campuses.

Since February, we’ve selected the 4 House Campus Pastors that will be heading out to these communities really soon. I believe in the leadership and potential of each one of these guys, and am honored to introduce them to you now.

Josh Seabaugh and his wife Ali will be heading down to Hilton Head! To learn more about Josh and Ali and to hear about some of the exciting things you can be praying for them about, check out this letter from Josh.

Matt Steelman and his wife Nikki are going to be moving to the Aiken area to kick off that House Campus! Matt and Nikki are both former Fuse students, and Matt has been serving as a Fuse Campus Pastor in Greenville. Hear more about this awesome couple here in this letter from Matt.

Jeremy Haines and his wife Jessica will be leading our Sumter campus. Jeremy has done and incredible job serving with our Greenwood staff, and we’re so pumped for him to get down to Sumter! Check out this letter from Jeremy to learn more about him, his family and what they’re excited about as they take this next step!

Last but not least, Kaleb White (or as I like to call him “the Angry Leprechaun”) and his wife Kristen will be heading to Rock Hill. Kaleb is one of the most passionate, driven people I know and I can’t wait to see the way the Lord is going to use him and Kristen in Rock Hill! To learn more about Kaleb, Kristen and the Rock Hill Campus, check out this letter from the Angry Leprechaun himself.
