Yesterday was incredible. I will say that at times the crowd was very uncomfortable…VERY! Anytime a speaker deals with issues such as homosexuality, finances, and our public confession of Christ—well—that can get really tense.
But tension is NOT a bad thing…it means that people are thinking—that the Holy Spirit is moving…and that decisions are being made. I LOVE THAT!
Today our office is closed…we made this decision six months ago when we looked at the calendar and said, “The 4th is on Tuesday…we are NOT going to work on Monday and then have Tuesday off and then get back in gear on Wednesday!” The staff at NewSpring works so hard…and God is honored by their effort each and every week…so guys and gals…ENJOY your time off!
Wednesday—yeah—we are not doing First Wednesday this month—as I have said earlier—we made the decision when we began First Wednesday NOT to do it in January and July…BUT we will be cranking it up in August.
And finally—the gym will be closed tomorrow…BUT I think I am going to go for a run—probably between 5 and 7 miles. If anyone is interested I will be at AnMed at 7:00 in the morning before it gets too hot!
OK—one more thing…if you did not watch THIS video from my Saturday post—please—you’ve got to see this…I just don’t know what to say…
OK—really—this is my last thing—but there is a character in our office that is quite popular—his name is Rev. Joe Dale—and he “visited our church” and put his findings on the internet—check it out here...I promise that you will either LOVE him or HATE him. (Chances are if you hate him then you hate my blog as well—which makes me question why in the world you come here on a regular basis!) :-)
