So…I am really excited about this coming Sunday. Like I said yesterday—Sunday is a time when the smack talk ends and we stand toe to toe with the vision that the Lord has put in front of us. AND…this is a church that has always responded and stepped up big whenever God asked us to!
I am pumped because of the potential that is before us…over 60% of Greenville is unchurched. The world is winning the battle against our teens and our children because, quite frankly, they are spending money and the church is not! SO…God has called us to go all out…
we do not serve a second class God, therefore He should not have a second class church!
Folks…this is SO much bigger than I could have ever thought up. As I said a couple of weeks ago…if I had it my way we would pursue this vision in bite size chunks…but after really wrestling with this for over a year I know that God wants us to jump in with both feet.
AND it is exciting because every time the Lord has challenged us to step up big—we have responded, He has moved and
hundreds thousands of lives have been impacted. As I have often said…this isn’t about bigger buildings…it’s about changed lives!!!
So on Sunday it’s time…time to do exactly what the Lord lays on your heart. The ONLY way to achieve this vision is for us all to be
radically obedient to the Lord in regards to what He wants us to give.
I can’t wait…and I am praying as I know you are. Remember, be here early Sunday, commitment card in hand…and let’s celebrate like crazy what God is about to do!!!
