An Update On Second Chance (Celebrating 2018, Anticipating 2019)

Dec 27, 2018

I can't even believe the incredible things Jesus has done this year at Second Chance!

This year we've seen...

  • Over 300 people give their lives to Christ
  • Over $250,000 raised for our worship facility
  • Financial support given to help plant a church in New York City
  • Hundreds of people who felt disconnected from Jesus & church find connection again.

And I believe that is only a taste of what we're going to see Jesus do in 2019.

We are currently scheduled to have our first meeting in our new facility on January 27, 2019 with two services, 9:15 & 11:15 AM

(And we will continue to stream our services online once we make the move into the facility - wanted to say this because so many people have asked.)

We were originally scheduled to be in two weeks prior; however, we've experienced a tad bit of complexity in regards to getting our certificate of occupancy because of fire alarm issues (which we anticipate being solved really soon.

I just wanted to take a second of your time to say "thank you" to everyone who has prayed for Second Chance - as well as those who have given so generously (to both our regular offering and our 250k fund.  Your generosity has absolutely made an incredible difference as we are going to be able to move into our facility debt free.

I'm personally excited because I believe our church has so much potential to reach people who feel like they have "blown it" when it comes to a walk with Jesus...

...they desperately need to know--everyone deserves a Second Chance.

Which is where I will ask you for two things regarding how you can make a difference as we wrap up 2018 and head into 2019.

#1 - Pray that everything moving forward with building inspections will go well, that the fire alarm issue is resolved so we can have our first services on January 27, 2019.

#2 - Continue to financially support Second Chance.  We've came so far--but there is so much more to be done--and every dollar makes a difference.

(You can go here to give online - or get the address to mail your donation.)

On a personal note - I wanted to say "thank you" for all of the encouragement and prayers.  Many of you will never know this side of heaven how much of a difference you've made in my life.

I'm so looking forward to this Sunday as we step into a brand new series that will get us ready to step into our new facility!

I love you guys - and believe with all my heart the best is yet to come!
