Just a glimpse into what is going on in my mind…
- First of all—we open Greenville campus this Sunday. It’s been a process in the making for two years. I remember announcing it in 2006…it seemed so far away…but this Sunday IT HAPPENS. We will launch with two services, 9:15 & 11:15!
- I’m excited for our Anderson campus because…this means we will have some empty seats to fill (we know of 700 to 1,000 people that are going to be at the G’Vegas campus!)
- Hey Anderson peeps, this means that we need to be doing all we can to GET PEOPLE TO CHURCH this Sunday, remember it is the series that YOU ASKED FOR!
- We are going to launch an internet campus…I don’t know when, but we are doing it! There are so many people we can reach on the web that we could never reach with our facilities.
- Speaking of facilities—the youth building is looking SWEET! I believe in teenagers…I’ve read that around 85-90% of the decisions made for Christ happen before the age of 18…WHAT A MISSION FIELD!
- AND…the children’s facilities are going to be absolutely INCREDIBLE. (Speaking of kids—we had over 1,300 at church this past Sunday…on 4th of July weekend—WOW!)
- Our youth camp, the Gauntlet, starts next week…I am SUPER excited, especially considering that I believe God finally showed me what He wants me to speak on yesterday morning. I can’t WAIT to see what God does!
- “Washed By The Water” by Needtobreath is THE BEST SONG on the radio right now! Seriously, if you are a pastor you REALLY need to download this song RIGHT NOW. The Lord has used it to really encourage me quite a few times. AND…it’s AWESOME MUSIC!
