What About My Campus?

Oct 5, 2014

Today at NewSpring I was able to share that because you give…

4,000 – the average number of teenagers that gather together at Fuse on Wednesday’s all across the state every week. (And, we are launching FUSE at Boiling Springs and Lexington on Wednesday, October 8!)

6,000 – the average number of children that learn about Jesus on their level in KidSpring every week.

5,166 – the number of people who have been baptized at NewSpring Church THIS YEAR!

8,356 – the number of people who have prayed to receive Christ at NewSpring THIS YEAR! (I’m praying for 10,000 by the end of the year…you with me?)

Every number has a name, every name has a story and every story matters to God.

And because of those of you who committed to give to Step Up...

We were able to launch our Boiling Springs campus this past January and have seen an average attendance at that campus of 1,164 people every week, have had 188 salvations and 145 people go public for Christ through baptism!

AND...

We were able to launch our Lexington campus in June and have seen an average attendance of nearly 1,000 people every week, 151 people have received Christ and 110 have gone public for Christ through baptism.

And, looking to the future…

We are launching our Powdersville campus on Sunday, January 11 of 2015 at Powdersville High School with plans to be able to build and be in our permanent facility by the fall of 2016.

Our Myrtle Beach campus will move into our permanent facility by March 2015.

Our Florence campus will move into our permanent facility by April 2015.

Our Charleston campus will move into our permanent facility by June 2015.

It’s SO EXCITING to be a part of all of this…

However, I understand there are some who may be asking, “What about my campus?” GREAT QUESTION, here is some additional information on things I was not able to cover today in the message:

#1 – Clemson – the land for the Clemson campus has been purchased (the old Milliken site). We are hoping and praying (best case scenario) to be able to have all of the ground work down and be able to begin “moving dirt” sometime in the spring of 2015 and be in that location in the fall of 2016.

#2 – Greenville – as most of you know our initial plans for the purchase of land fell through; however, because we KNOW the best is yet to come and God’s plans are always greater than ours we have began to explore other options.

Currently we meet in one of the BEST facilities in Greenville County. I cannot say enough good things about the TDCC and the way that they are always willing to work with us.

As I said, we are exploring options and praying big prayers right now. Greenville campus has NOT been forgotten in all of this. I will keep you posted as we know more; however, I want EVERYONE in Greenville to know that what God is doing in our church over there is AMAZING! I recently heard that Greenville is one of the LARGEST load in/load out portable locations in the entire US!!!

#3 – Greer – the land has been purchased although a construction date has not been set just yet.

#4 – Downtown Charleston – since we are moving a little further north in Charleston there are initial plans being prayed through and discussed about the possibility of a downtown Charleston campus one day. It’s something we WANT to do and are believing the Lord will open doors for us. We do not have a date set yet, or even a possible time frame…but it is an option we are pursuing.

Once again, thank all of you who have given to Step Up…because you do what you do we are going to reach 100,000 quicker than we could have ever imagined.

God is using you to make a difference. And because I really do believe that you cannot out give God…I believe He will pour out His blessings on you because of your faithfulness in giving in ways that you could never asked for or imagined!
