No Matter What Your Plans Are, God’s Are GREATER!

This past Friday at 9:20 AM I tweeted, “Hey @newspring, will you pray and believe with me that we will see at least 100 people receive Christ this weekend? Who’s in?” 

So many people, both on Facebook and Twitter rallied to the call, prayed and even invited people to church, believing that God could do great things. 

We prayed for 100…

But God saved 204 people at NewSpring Church yesterday. (And we celebrate EVERY salvation because every number has a name, every name has a story and every story matters to God!)   

Clearly He had GREATER plans. He wanted more for us than we wanted for ourselves.

And if that is true for our church then it is true for you as well. 

Ephesians 3:20 clearly says He is able to do immeasurably more than ALL we could ever ask or imagine! 

I Corinthians 2:9 tells us that our minds can’t even conceive how great His plans are for us. 

If you are still wrestling with completely surrendering your life to Christ, I would ask you to surrender simply because your plans for your life are way too small…there is an infinite, all powerful, all loving God who wants more for you than you could ever imagine. 

Let’s CELEBRATE this as a church…but HOLD ON to this for our personal lives as well!! 

No matter what your plans, your hopes, your dreams, your pain, your doubts, your frustrations – HE IS GREATER and has GREATER plans for you!
