A Note to My Facebook Friends

Howdy NewSpring!
 
As many of you know, I love getting to interact with you on social media- especially on Facebook!  It’s a great place to share and discuss what Jesus is doing in and through our church at every campus!!  
 
I’m still celebrating the fact that we have raised 3 million dollars and counting for Clemson!!  However, like we’ve said so many times before, when God moves, resistance often follows.  Today that’s been in the form of people pretending to be me on Facebook and asking you to be “friends” and to give money. 
 
There are 2 ways you can help:
 
1.  Remember that I have ONE OFFICIAL PAGE.  Anything outside of that is NOT ME and is a fraud!! Don’t waste your time interacting with any other “Perry” account.
 
2. If you receive messages or friend requests from any of these fake accounts, please report them by emailing the URL of that account to contactperry@newspring.cc.  We can get them shut down much more quickly with your help!
 
I love my church, and I’m SO excited for the Difference Maker series we are starting THIS SUNDAY!!  I believe that God can do an amazing work in your life and in the life of our church in 2016, and I can’t wait to talk about it!!
