I put together this list with the help of our AWESOME staff…here we go…
#20 - Have we ever let you down when we said, “You don’t want to miss this…”?
#19 - Your kids get to scream, run around and use up energy BEFORE Christmas
#18 - No Handel’s Messiah—Hallelujah!!!
#17 - You never know what is going to happen…2003 it was Perry from the ceiling, 2004 in the golf cart, 2005 the shopping trip with the elf…what will 2006 be?
#16 - We have the Griswold family Christmas tree in our atrium! Seriously—it’s flippin’ HUGE!
#15 - We will let you keep the nifty NewSpring pen…just this once! (OK, just kidding…AND…this might be a great time to return all the pens you have “accidently” taken!) :-)
#14 - There will NOT BE an interpretive movement done to the song “Christmas Shoes!”
#13 - This is the FIRST Christmas Eve service in our new building…and you’ll be the only dork in your neighborhood who missed it if you are not here!
#12 - Live elf wrestling!!! (Just kidding!)
#11 - The lead singer in the band is soooooo cute!
#10 - We’ll shoot your eye out if you don’t come!
#9 - Your kids will not have to wear your bathrobes in order to be a shepherd…instead they will have their own creative Christmas service where they learn to appreciate not what they WANT for Christmas, but rather the gifts we can receive through Christ.
#8 - It will be FUN!!!!
#7 - We guarantee you’ll like at least one song, no matter how old, hip, or square you are!
#6 - You are not required to wear a Christmas sweater or a santa tie.
#5 - Because people are GOING to meet Jesus…and you can be a part of that IF you INVITE someone TODAY! (GET PEOPLE HERE!!!)
#4 - I hear there are going to be toasted marshmallows—seriously!
#3 - You won’t have to smell the live nativity…or worry about the donkey freaking out and tearing up the stage…NO…there will be no donkey…or hobbits!
#2 - It will be the most AWESOME experience you have ever had at church on a Christmas Eve
#1 - We understand that Christmas is all about JESUS…and HE will be lifted up in a radical way!!!
Don’t forget—Saturday at 4pm & 6pm…and Sunday at 9:15 & 11:15…and for this week only there will be NO Sunday night services!!! BUT…we will have one next week on New Years Eve…more on that later!
