There are some things on my mind…and because I am A-D-D I have to share them now OR I will forget that they are in my mind…UNTIL I get up to go to the restroom at 2 in the morning…and then I won’t be able to shut my mind off!!!
So here goes…
- DO NOT MISS FIRST WEDNESDAY! We are going to CRANK things up at 6:30…and I will have to say that the past four of five have been INCREDIBLE experiences!!!
- My buddy Bob (I say he’s my buddy—we’ve actually never met—but we do e-mail) had this post that is a MUST READ for anyone who is thinking about starting a church…OR is currently leading a church!
- Mark Batterson is a friend (who I have met…AND he bought me coffee…which means he is a friend for life) who, through his blog both challenges and encourages me—take a second to read this post—it’s awesome!
- And then yet again Mark hit a homerun here!!! Pastors, church leaders, critics—READ IT!!!
- I think Herman the turkey is dead!
- Steven Furtick knocked the ball out of the park with his post on what a pastor goes through. Don’t read this unless you want to know the truth about how we think…it’s sort of scary!
- Have I mentioned that Mother’s Day is going to be one of the most incredible services in the history of our church?
- AND…this Sunday—DANG...that’s really all I can say!!!
- ‘Cretia and I just watched Heroes on-line at NBC’s website…this is the BEST SHOW on television, if you are not watching it…you’re missing out!
- I love my wife. I’ve always heard husbands say that they think their wife is incredibly hot when she’s pregnant…I can verify that!!! WOW—what a woman!
- Yesterday was one of the most ON FIRE creative sessions we have ever had. I am going to say this a lot—but GET PEOPLE HERE on May 20th, I promise you that the Gospel is going to be presented in a way that is SO REAL! Go ahead and tell people, “You are coming to church with me on the 20th!”
- I am going to be a dad!!! And I am praying so hard about this…this responsibility is greater than the one of leading the church!
- Our teenagers are AWESOME…I love these guys…and I am going to get to spend a whole week with them in Panama City this summer. Parents—MAKE SURE your kids go to this event…last year was off the hook! We have 282 students signed up so far (last year we took 182 total) and about 60 more open spots!!!
- Did I mention that Mother’s Day is going to be incredible?
