Should We Worry About How “Dark” The World Is Becoming?

With all that has been going on in the world recently there are some Christians who are voicing serious concern over the apparent darkness that seems to be dominating our world.  

However, doesn't the world getting darker mean there is actually a greater opportunity for light to stand out?  

Are we not told in Scripture that light shatters the darkness?  

Did Jesus not call us the light of the world (indicating there would be times of darkness?)  

Some see this as a time where Christianity is going to be pushed to the side, or maybe even stamped out altogether.  

However, I see it as a time where those who know Christ have one of the greatest opportunities in history to point people to the LIFE, HOPE and FREEDOM only found in a relationship with Jesus!
