Here are a few more thoughts I’ve had on my journey through Scripture…
- II Corinthians 1:9-10, My hope needs to be constantly in Christ…no matter what!
- II Corinthians 1:21-22, Salvation is a guarantee and is not based on my performance but rather in the fact that I am SEALED my His Holy Spirit.
- II Corinthians 2:11, warfare is real.
- II Corinthians 2:14, no need to worry about the war—we win!
- II Corinthians 3:4-5, Our deeds do not make us sufficient to stand before God—Christ does.
- II Corinthians 4:1-2, How I do ministry really does matter to Jesus.
- II Corinthians 4:8-10, Are you in the middle of a tough time—READ THESE VERSES—they often help me!
- II Corinthians 4:16-18, Every minister needs to memorize these verses!
- II Corinthians 5:16, I should view no one as a mere human being—EVERYONE will spend eternity SOMEWHERE!
- II Corinthians 5:17, THIS IS MY STORY!!!
- II Corinthians 5:20-21, We, His church, are called to this ministry—and we can NEVER forsake His command for our comfort & desires!
- II Corinthians 6:1, I pray that I NEVER take His grace for granted! (By the way, the people who are in habitual sin and keep using “grace” as an excuse—READ THIS VERSE AGAIN!)
- II Corinthians 7:1, I want to finish well!
- II Corinthians 8:1-2, Giving isn’t a matter of what I can afford, but rather how thankful I am in regards to all He has done for me.
- II Corinthians 8:7, Giving is not something we should seek to do the minimum in, but rather the maximum!
- II Corinthians 9:6-8, I cannot out give God (and neither can you!)
- II Corinthians 9:15, ANYONE who has a problem with generous giving REALLY needs to spend some time meditating on this verse!
- II Corinthians 10:5, I am constantly trying to live out this verse!
- II Corinthians 11:3, Our thought life is VERY important in regards to maintaining a consistent walk with Christ.
- II Corinthians 11:23-29, ANYTIME I think my life is rough I read this passage and am HUMBLED!
- II Corinthians 12:7-10, This passage has always caused me great joy…and discomfort!
That’s it for now! :-) WOW—God’s Word is amazing!
