A few random thoughts to get the day started…

#1 - Marathon training begins this week! I actually ran 11 miles this past Saturday. (YES IT HURT—DUH!!!) I am training with a group of about 7 people and we are going to San Diego in June to run this thing…YEAH!

#2 - I woke up yesterday (Sunday) morning at…you guessed it—4:38 am. (If you are not sure what I am talking about—just scroll down and read my post entitled 4:38 from this past Thursday. Is God trying to tell me something? :-)

#3 - I saw the trailer for this movie about Jim Elliot yesterday and about started crying right there in my living room. It’s sad when a movie like this isn’t getting a ton of publicity while movies like Broke Back Mountain are getting award nominations before they are even released. (Yes—I went there and I meant it!)

#4 - The seats are being installed in the sanctuary at the new building. Oh my! WOW! That’s all I can say…this is happening…REALLY happening! Four more weeks at Anderson College (actually it is University now) and we get our very own place!

#5 - Staff meeting in about 45 minutes…I have the best team in the world around me!!! They are all amazing…their love for Jesus and this church is awesome!

#6 - Great services yesterday! WOW! Is God awesome or what. I will acknowledge that it was tense…but tense is good! (We actually had a dude walk out last night during the middle of the message and sling his pen across the lobby and then leave!) I have always been told that if someone isn’t getting uncomfortable in a church service—then the truth must not be being spoken.

#7 - This post by Scott says it all—I actually thought about doing a similar post last week—I guess great minds think alike. (Or would that be warped minds?)
