Medicine Is Good And Another Thought

Mar 11, 2006

SO…I went to the doctor yesterday…and it was good!!! I was given medicine and—WOW—today and I feeling MUCH better. My ear is still a little sore…but all in all I believe I am about to get back on my feet.

I didn’t run with the marathon group on Thursday…and I skipped today as well. It killed me to miss…I love running with this group…but I needed the rest!!! (I slept for 11 hours last night!!!)

Tomorrow at NewSpring will be awesome—I can’t wait to preach this sermon…we have never really covered the topic we are hitting on tomorrow…and I promise that you will see some things you never really expected to see! :-)

One more thing…if you read the thread of comments from the link I put up yesterday then I am almost sure that you got in all the reading you need to do for a solid month.

However, I noticed something on a blog that cracked me up…there was a blogger that made the comment that if churches like NewSpring or Saddleback or…well…you get the picture…that if churches like us actually started preaching the Gospel that we would cut our numbers in half, that people would stop coming.

Now I have to say this…that is the most stupid, ridiculous thing I have ever read in my life! We do nothing at NewSpring except for preach the Gospel…and lives are being changed. This guys argument says that if we preach the Gospel that no one would actually come.

Here is a link from one of my favorite bloggers that has some pretty good statements on this issue.

Have an awesome weekend—see you tomorrow!!!
