We’ve only had one week of the “Man Versus Wife” series…and the stories we are receiving have been incredible!!!!
I saw a man and his wife in a restaurant last night…and he told me that he and his wife were reading Philippians 2:1-11 and praying everyday.
We had a couple at the Anderson campus who came to church on Sunday who said that they were about ready to give up and throw in the towel on their marriage…but after receiving the direct mail piece they decided to come to church and give it one more shot. After the message they told a staff member that they had hope and they were going to keep giving it a shot.
We had a woman who got her husband to come with her…he is not a Christian and did not receive Christ this past Sunday, but he said he is going to continue to come to the series and she is believing that God is going to eventually save him.
I could literally go on and on…but I can honestly say that we’ve NEVER received this much positive feedback after the first week of ANY series! (Oh yeah…and around 100 people gave their lives to Christ on Sunday…THAT NEVER GETS OLD!)
So…to say that the anticipation meter on every one of our campuses is maxed out is an understatement!
The series continues this coming Sunday with a message about Biblical manhood, why it matters so much in a marriage and why it is needed in a dating relationship. Can’t wait…pray that God will continue to do amazing things and…BRING someone with you!
