Here are some things that I am pretty stoked about…
#1 - This Sunday (of course!) We will be continuing the series, “ME or jesus” and will take a look at a very familiar passage of Scripture…BUT…from a different perspective.
#2 - Whiteboard is next week! Honestly, the thing I am most excited about is learning from some incredible great leaders…and connecting (and reconnecting) with some great friends.
#3 - The Gauntlet - our youth summer beach camp is going to be OFF THE CHAIN!!! Parents, seriously, this week COULD change your teenagers life!!! A parent in our home group the other night said that his kid told him, “Dad, I don’t really care about going on the class trip to NY this year…I would rather go to the Gauntlet.” WOW!
Why a retreat to be beach for a week? Several reasons…
- Teens are in an incredibly positive, Christ centered environment for an entire week…that is definitely NOT a bad thing!
- Distractions are removed from a persons life on a retreat. (Yes, we do take their cell phones away!)
- God ALWAYS does something incredible on this trip—ALWAYS!
- Kids come back changed…and so does every adult that goes. Seriously…God just does something awesome…and this year is going to be no exception!
#4 - Joe Sangl is going to be teaching his Financial Learning Experience here at NewSpring Church on Tuesday, May 20th. If you have not yet attended one of these experiences…YOU NEED TO BE HERE. In this class you will learn…
- How to get out of debt…and STAY THAT WAY!
- How to NOT be constantly stressed out by money matters!
- How to NOT ARGUE as a couple over money!
- And a TON more!!!
