Do You Want To Develop A Next Level Game Plan For Your Ministry?
On September 1, 2012 my view of college football changed forever as I discovered what a “game plan” was.
I had been invited by the head coach to ride to Atlanta with the team and I graciously accepted—as college football is the GREATEST SPORT EVER!
On the bus ride down I sat next to the offensive coordinator and noticed him pouring over an 8 1/2 by 14 piece of multi colored laminated paper.
Curiosity got the best of me and so I asked him what it was—and he told me it was the teams “game plan.”
When I looked back at him sort of confused he explained to me that hundreds of hours had gone into studying film of the other team—as well as studying film of his offense as well. As a result of understanding strengths and weaknesses - a game plan was established that literally mapped out every possible scenario the team would face in the game.
“Having a game plan (doing the preparation before hand) takes all of the emotion out of the moment and helps me make the best decision for the team,” he said.
I’ve never forgotten that conversation - and how the Lord used it to speak to my own heart about my ministry developing a game plan.
If you are anything like me in regards to ministry - on most days you don’t know what in the heck you are doing. It seems there are more demands on our time than we can meet, more decisions that need to be made and pressure to always make sure we are getting it right.
In ministry this can cause uncertainty as to what we are supposed to do next - and - if we try treading water for too long we will actually begin to question our calling.
I get it - I’ve been there and know exactly how it feels to walk into your office and wonder whether or not you have what it take to lead your church to the next level.
Which is why I am starting an online coaching network in a few weeks - because I know from personal experience that developing a game plan for your church/ministry will absolutely allow you to experience peace in your decision making and confidence in your calling.
I am limiting the group to 15 people so we can make sure you receive the most attention and coaching possible. There will be four live coaching sessions as well as a private Facebook group where we can all interact with one another. (And a few other surprises as well!)
Spaces are starting to fill up - and the first session is going to be on Wednesday, September 13. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis - and once the spaces are filled we will begin a waiting list.
If you have felt like you don’t know what in the heck you are doing - or you want to break through the next barrier in your ministry, then go here to register right now - I can promise you it will be one of the most significant investments you’ve ever made in your ministry.
