I believe what Rick Warren said is true—that pastors are the most underrated change agents in the world. As I approach the ten year mark on being a senior pastor and having the privilege of meeting more and more pastors I am seeing a very disturbing pattern.
Pastors are fried—lonely—confused—frustrated—and desperate. We want to do what is right…but there seems to be constant pressure coming at us from all side. How do we know what to do next? How do I handle this staffing issue? How can I structure my schedule to maximize my time? Those are a few of the questions that are being asked.
God has really been dealing with me for the past year or so about starting a coaching network…so I am going for it…and I am PUMPED. The network will begin this August and run through next January—we will meet here at NewSpring Church once a month for a time of teaching, networking and brainstorming.
If you are interested in being a part of this network then please email Lindsay Owens. Her email address is Lindsay.owens@newspring.cc She will send you an application that must be filled out and sent back in. We are only going to be able to accept between 12-15 people each time we do this—so the sooner you get that thing in…the better.
The cost for being a part of this network is $1,500 and will be due either before or at the first meeting that takes place.
Once again let me say that I am pumped about this and can’t wait for it to take off. We’ve already received lots of requests for applications…but I wanted to put this out there just in case anyone missed my first post on it.
