Howdy NewSpring Church, seven things I wanted to share with you today…
#1 – I am so serious when I say that “On The Farm” has been one of my favorite series of all time as we’ve been able to dive into the vision of our church AND how that vision impacts all of us on a personal level. (As evidenced by the fact that we had people receive Christ this past weekend in a vision message!)
#2 – We will complete the “On The Farm” series this coming Sunday as we dive into the last three most frequently asked questions about our church…honestly, this is my favorite message of the whole series, I CANNOT WAIT!
#3 – NEXT Friday (July 22) is our campus wide volunteer vision event where we will be announcing the two new NewSpring Church locations and diving into what is coming our way as a church this fall. You do NOT want to miss this event as it is going to be one of the most exciting environments you have EVER been a part of, I promise! I cannot WAIT to share what I believe God has in store for our church in the upcoming months!!!
#4 – Beginning on August 7th we are going to dive into the book of Revelation for eight weeks (specifically the first three chapters!) We will NOT walk away from this series knowing when Jesus will come back…but we will walk away with a greater understand of WHO He is and WHAT He wants for our lives!
#5 – PLEASE keep “The Gauntlet” (our summer youth camp) in your prayers. We will be taking more teenagers and more volunteers this year than ever before. I’ve never seen the spiritual temperature as high as it is right now in our student ministry…and this is BEFORE camp! I’m asking everyone in our church to commit to BEG God to do unexplainable and undeniable things among us.
#6 – The Israel trip is continuing to pick up steam…registrations are increasing every week. I can promise you that this is going to be an amazing trip. Here are the details if you are interested!!! (And…this is for ANYONE who wants to go, not just those who attend or are “owners” of NewSpring Church!)
#7 – We’re doing a two week series beginning on July 24 entitled, “Stories” that is going to be unbelievable. One of the GREATEST things about Jesus is that He is still at work, meeting people where they are and bringing them where they need to be. For these two weeks we will take a look at the stories in the Scriptures of where Jesus changed someone…and then take a look at a modern day example of how He is STILL DOING IT!
