Howdy NewSpring Church, seven things I wanted to share with you on this AMAZING Tuesday…
#1 - I honestly believe that this past Sunday was the most amazing Mother’s Day we’ve ever had at NewSpring Church. It was an honor to preach from the Bible that my mother used to read from every morning…and it is my prayer that every mother walked away with the understanding that God doesn’t expect you to be perfect, just surrendered…AND that the influence of a godly mother will go way beyond her years on this earth. Also remember…
- The Lord is with you
- Do not fear
- He will be great
- Nothing is impossible with God
- I am the Lord’s servant
#2 - This is a confession…can’t believe I am saying this…but…I really did enjoy wearing the suit! :-)
#3 - A HUGE thank you to every campus for the way everyone stepped up BIG TIME to assist with the Alabama Tornado Relief effort that our church is participating in. (I wrote about that here last week in case you missed it.) It is always so awesome to see the church be the church. You guys gave so generously and thousands of dollars worth of much needed supplies are on their way to Alabama.
#4 - We have a big surprise for you this Sunday as we continue our series entitled, “More!” I can promise you that what you hear AND apply out of this coming Sunday’s message WILL significantly impact you, your children AND generations that follow.
#5 - Gauntlet registrations are coming in FAST! Remember, this coming Sunday is the absolute deadline for you to get the early bird rate registration of $249…after that the price increase to $349. (Here is the link to register.) I’ve said it before and I will say it again…it will be one of the most amazing weeks of your child’s teenage years, I promise!!!
#6 - I cannot believe I leave for Israel in less than a week…I’m SO excited. Remember, we are going to be doing a church trip in 2012…and quite a few people have already expressed an interest in going. I can promise you it will be incredible.
#7 - We are getting closer and closer to being able to announce our next two campus locations. I would ask for your prayers as we are seeking the Lord for the WHERE (location) and the WHO (leaders.) It is our goal to be able to launch these two new campuses by Easter of next year!
