What A Day - Panama City, Day Two, Update Two

Jun 13, 2006

OK…this has been a GREAT day…I will try to keep it short!

To all of the parents who have called/e-mailed with concerns about the tropical storm…it’s gone!  We barely got any rain from it.  We have lost no children…all are well.  It completely missed us!

We did think we saw a sting ray today in the water.  We were all pointing and watching it…and all of a sudden I looked up and there were people everywhere watching us.  I wanted to yell, “SHARK” and run…but I didn’t want to spend time in jail for causing a stampede!  Oh yeah, it wasn’t a sting ray…it was some type of seaweed!

Tonights worship time was incredible.  Once again we saw about five or six teens accept Christ…and many more talking with adult leaders about how to be sure of their salvation.  AWESOME stuff.

I do have pictures—but I am tired and want to go to bed—so maybe tomorrow!  :-)

The ONLY problem we have had today is…well…I think some of the kids may have spent too much time in the sun…they are looking a little “pink.”  Maybe they will remember sunscreen tomorrow!
