Great Weekend

WOW—what a weekend!!!

Friday night I had supper with my wife and my sister in law at Sullivans! If you live in Anderson I would highly recommend the grouper—AWESOME!

On Saturday I had a friend hook ‘Cretia and I with some sweet seats at the Clemson game—actually, they were in one of the boxes! Yes, we ate a lot of food! And yes—a good time was had by all—well, that’s not really true—‘Cretia is a huge FSU fan! She grew up in Thomasville, GA, which is about 30 minutes from FSU. Charlie Ward was actually the QB for her high school football team!

So…I haven’t talked any smack—but I have been singing “Tiger Rag” a lot around the house. (And to make my football weekend better—UGA lost! I am sure that will come up in my lunch with Gary on Wednesday!!!)

Church today was off the hook! Lee & the worship team led us in an incredible time of praise! And we had 4,595 people show up—which broke the record that was set last week! PRAISE GOD! It’s amazing…for some reason there are people that assume that when you start a church that you have to “water down” messages—NOT TRUE! We have taught nothing but Scripture and people keep inviting people to hear about Jesus! YEAH!

Speaking of the message—I will have some follow up thoughts for the men tomorrow…and for the women on Tuesday—should be fun!
