We are launching a brand new series on October 19th entitled, “Beautiful, a series for women and the men that pursue them.”
Some may ask, “Why a series for women?” Great question—can answer it by saying…
- God told us to! (That’s the easy answer—it’s true…but still easy!)
- We did a series for men in the spring. (Gotta be fair, right?)
- Men need to learn how to relate better to women. (While this is true…it’s still not the main reason!)
So why? Well…we have put a ton of time and research into this series & have come to the conclusion that women are asking one or more of the following questions.
#1 - Am I Beautiful? In a world that is constantly telling women they are NOT beautiful…how do they keep their sanity? AND…does anyone really look like those girls on the magazine covers?
#2 - Am I worth being pursued? EVERY single girls asks herself this at one time or another…and married women often wonder this when he begins to spend more time on the golf course than at home.
#3 - How can I be a better wife? MOST women really do want to know what Scripture says about being a Proverbs 31:10 wife…and Scripture is clear as to how a woman can be someone her husband is SO proud of! (I’m proud of my wife!!!) And singles…what are some things you can do NOW to be a godly wife for “him” in the future?
#4 - What do husbands REALLY need from their wives? The answer will surprise you!
#5 - “Does my less than pure past disqualify me from a promising future? Can God REALLY forgive my sexual sin?” Lots of women have a really hard time forgiving themselves for the things that took place last night…or last year…or 10 years ago. So…how does Jesus REALLY feel about all of that?
#6 - “What if I feel like giving up?” I have spoken to lots of women over the past 15 or so years that absolutely feel there is no hope for their situation…but God reigns…even over “impossible” circumstances; in fact, those are His speciality!
Once again…we begin this on Sunday, October 19th. NewSpringers…this is the PERFECT series to invite your friends to attend. Let me encourage you to go all out to get them here…do whatever it takes.
AND MEN, YES…YOU NEED TO BE HERE...thus the subtitle, “And for the men who pursue them!” Just for the men there WILL BE a “man moment” every week in the service that will be…let’s just say…unforgettable!
