Church

All Access

One of the things that absolutely PUMPS me up is when leaders from other churches take a Sunday and come to a service at NewSpring…it pumps me up for two reasons…

#1 - It gives me an opportunity to ask questions to someone who is experiencing our church with fresh eyes and who can also see things that we cannot see.  I have learned a lot from other leaders who have came here with the intention of learning from us!!!

#2 - I am all about the “BIG C” church…and the fact that someone thinks we can help them and would take a weekend to come here and hang out both humbles and excites me that we here at NewSpring can actually contribute to what God is doing all over.

HOWEVER, one of the things that bums me out a little is that, often times, I don’t get a chance to connect with the leaders that come here because it was either a last minute thing that they even decided to come OR I am so slammed with other responsibilities that I am not able to meet and chat for extended periods of time.

SO…because of this AND an intense desire by our staff to serve other churches—we have created an event called “All Access,” an event designed specifically for church leaders who want to hang out with our staff here at NewSpring and see how we pull off a weekend service.  During this event church leaders will have an opportunity to see everything in action on Sunday and then connect with our staff on Sunday evening and Monday for a time of Q & A.

I will have to admit, though, that what I am most excited about is having supper with the senior pastors that Sunday evening to hear about what God is doing in your ministries.  I love these environments—they absolutely fire me up!

In order to maximize our time with each participant our space is limited.  The event is scheduled for October 21 and 22 and you can sign up here if you are interested…or shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions and I will make sure someone gets back to you with an answer.

AND…if you can’t make it in October but would LOVE to come to one of these in the future then keep an eye open because I am sure we will host more of these events in 2008.
