Howdy NewSpring Church, SEVEN things I would love to share with you today…
#1 - I still cannot get over Sunday and what happened in our church! We saw over 130 people receive Christ in our worship services and had a record non-holiday attendance of 21,185 people…IN JULY! (Every number has a name, every name has a story and every story matters to God!) One of the things I pray we always remember from this past Sunday is that the mess we’ve made is not greater than the price He paid!!! His grace IS greater than our sin! AND…I pray that our church services will ALWAYS reflect what the Scriptures say in I Timothy 3:15, that we are the church of the LIVING GOD!!! HE IS ALIVE AND OUR CHURCH SERVICES SHOULD REFLECT THAT FACT!!!
(BTW…the 6:00 service in Anderson was at a level unlike anything I’ve ever seen…WOW!!!)
#2 - Gauntlet this year was THE BEST EVER!!! I honestly do not have words to describe what Jesus did…and I believe that this excitement and momentum will carry us through the fall unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. I’ve heard Brad say it many times (and it’s true) that the wave always begins in the student section (think about college football games!) I believe that is true in the church as well…and the wave that the Lord began last week in Daytona is going to result in a tsunami of His grace hitting our state!!!

#3 - Write it down, circle it and get ready…Sunday, August 26 is the day we are going to boldly ask Jesus to save 3,000 people…THAT DAY!!! I’m asking that everyone in our church pray as much and as often as possible for this day…that God will draw people to Himself. AND…that each one of us will go ahead and begin to ask people to commit to coming to church with us that day! (Check out Romans 10:13-17!) Found People Find People!!! And…EVERYONE spends eternity somewhere!!! Let’s allow Jesus to break our hearts and sell out to His agenda, pursuing people that are far from God! (See Luke 19:10)
#4 - Also, in order to prepare for the 26th we are having a night of worship (admission is free) at the Colonial Center in Columbia on Friday, August 24th and the BILO center on Saturday, August 25th for the purpose of gathering our church together and begging Jesus to do the miraculous in our church the next day!!! #5 - In case you missed it yesterday…here is some Scripture I wanted everyone in our church to read through and reflect on.
#6 - Sunday we are continuing our “House Party” series!!! I cannot wait…it’s going to be AWESOME!!! If you want to read ahead you can do so by checking out John 1:43-51 and Genesis 28:10-22.
#7 - I LOVE MY CHURCH!!! THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!
