Howdy NewSpring Church, SEVEN things I want to share with you today…
#1 - Sunday was absolutely AMAZING, once again Clayton King was with us and brought an incredible message about the Gospel and the power of the cross. I NEVER get tired of hearing the Gospel and about the cross because it means so much to me. A true understanding of the Gospel will set our hearts on fire for Christ every time we hear it because it causes us to fully understand the reality of Ephesians 2:1-10!
#2 - We’ve seen 257 people receive Christ over the past two weeks while Clayton has been preaching here…THAT NEVER GETS OLD! (118 two weeks ago and 139 on Sunday…INCREDIBLE!!!)
#3 - We will be launching brand new elements of our discipleship process this fall and should be ALL OUT on every campus by next spring. I am SO EXCITED about this process as it is one our church has developed out of our core values…it’s going to absolutely CHANGE LIVES and help us reach over 100,000

#4 - You have GOT TO BE HERE THIS COMING SUNDAY as Matthew Barnett from The Dream Center in California will be with us! Matthew is an amazing communicator who will be bringing a message that WILL CHALLENGE & CHANGE everyone in attendance! Trust me!
#5 - On Sunday, October 23 we will begin a BRAND NEW SERIES on the book of Job! I cannot wait! So many times we look at the book of Job and stop reading after chapters one and two…not understanding that the story of Job is an incredible story of HOPE! The Bible says in Job 42:12 that God blessed the 2nd half of Job’s life more than the first!!! So, in this series we are going to be looking at how to live a life that is BLESSED more than we could ever imagine…covering things such as…
- How to have hope when you feel like you’re life is over
- How to KNOW that God has a plan for your life…and to actually discover what it is!
- How to not have to worry about money anymore!
- How to hear the voice of God
- How to know without a doubt that God loves you
- How to take your walk with God to the next level by accepting His invitation to join Him in becoming a part of something so much larger than yourself.
#6 - Please keep praying for the book I am writing. I have actually COMPLETED five chapters…at least five more to go. It is our goal to release it next October…and I am praying HUGE PRAYERS for this book!
#7 - I’m going to go ahead and say that the Christmas services this year are going to be unlike ANYTHING you have ever seen!!! I believe we are going to see HUNDREDS of people give their lives to Christ!!!
And one more thing…October is pastor’s appreciation month and I wanted to say “thank you” to NewSpring for being the most amazing church on the planet. It is an honor to serve this church as the pastor and I REALLY DO BELIEVE that our best days are yet to come. Jesus is changing lives through our church…and He’s just getting started. I love you guys, more than you will EVER know…and I am overwhelmed that I even get to do this!
I love my church…the BEST is YET to COME!!!
