Two Thoughts That Will Change The Trajectory Of Your Day

Dec 18, 2013

#1 - Jesus is GREATER than what you are going through!

A virgin birth and an empty tomb are an AMAZING reminder that NOTHING is impossible with God!

He is ALWAYS at work (John 5:17) and HIS WAYS and HIS PLANS are so much greater than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, I Corinthians 2:9), He makes EVERYTHING beautiful in HIS time (Ecclesiastes 3:11) and can somehow make ALL THINGS work for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28!)

He is greater than ANY circumstances or situation we will ever face.  I was actually reminded of this in the book of Daniel this morning as I read, "...His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."  Daniel 7:14

#2 - People Need To Know That Jesus Is GREATER than what they are going through!

Jesus Christ is THE HOPE of the world!

People do not know that intuitively...which is why Jesus emphasized over and over again that WE must TELL them (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:45-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8).

As followers of Jesus WE are called to be light (Matthew 5:14-16), messengers of good news (Romans 10:14-17) and unashamed of HIS Gospel (Romans 1:16.)

In light of this I am asking EVERYONE at NewSpring church to continue to pray AND invite people like crazy to one of our Christmas services beginning THIS coming Saturday (times and dates can be found right here.)

We can't just pray for people...we must pursue them with patience (II Peter 3:9) and kindness (Romans 2:4) that JESUS pursued us with.

People cannot experience TRUE peace in this world without Him (Luke 2:13-14)...and eternity is WAY TOO LONG to GET THIS WRONG!

The BEST THING we can "give" to someone this Christmas is an invite to NewSpring Church.  (I gave 10 reasons why to invite right here yesterday!)

We have prayed, prepared and now are asking you to pursue so that afterwards we can PARTY with the angels as we celebrate what they celebrate (Luke 15:7, Luke 15:10)!
