Thank You

Jul 13, 2005

I wanted to thank all of your for your prayers during this incredible time of trial and joy in my life. I have experienced things during the past week that a 34 year old dude in great health would have never have expected to go through…such as have his wife call 911, ride in an ambulance to the hospital, and spend 2 and a half days in the ICU.

But I will say this as well—DO NOT feel sorry for me at all or even think, “poor ‘ole Perry.” I AM BLESSED! God has done so many awesome things through this experience and I feel that even greater things are too come.

I have officially been released from the hospital and am now at home with my incredible wife—who is taking excellent care of me. The doctors have said that they expect me to make a full recovery, and one doctor even said that his biggest challenge was going to be in having to hold me back.

However, all of the doctors involved are still sort of scratching their heads and wondering what triggered the complications. Pray for them to discover the problem so that anything like this in the future may be “headed off @ the pass.”

For those who might be wondering what exactly happened to me…what was said @ church and previously posted on this BLOG are the facts. BUT…I will be talking about my experience in detail on my first Sunday back speaking at New Spring. If you have a friend or family member who does not know Christ and you want them to hear the gospel—I would make sure they were there.

(So when will I be speaking again—I promise it will be sooner than later—I have a target date in mind…it won’t be long!!!)

I will say this—GOD is so good, He has taught me so much…and I can’t wait to speak & share with all of you how blessed I am.
