Here are a few thoughts before heading to bed…
Saw around 30 people stand and receive Christ today…that NEVER gets old!
When we position ourselves in a posture of surrender, telling Jesus, “Everything is YOURS” and living out Matthew 6:33…unbelievable things WILL happen!
God’s Word is God’s standard…and we must conform to Him rather than expecting Him to conform to us!
When we strip ourselves of self righteousness, pride and “Southern Christianity”…it gets tense in the room.
Yes, I did say the word “turd” in church today…listen to the podcast!
If our answer to “why are you going to heaven” is anything other than “Jesus,”—we’re screwed!
Hell is real…people who die without knowing Christ really go there…and we are commanded by God to take Jesus to the world!
Jesus didn’t die so church people could be comfortable and to make sure we have people to serve us…but rather so we can serve Him by taking HIS GOSPEL to the world!
It’s HIS church…we should always do what HE says!
NewSpring started as a house church—15 people in a living room…but people kept meeting Christ and we grew…
I didn’t have the heart to tell people to “go to hell” because we were obsessed with our own little “authentic community!” (And I didn’t want to disobey the great commission!)
God has called us to make a difference here, there and everywhere!
Greenville’s attendance has increased an average of 33% this year so far (averaging first six weeks and the last six weeks!) Video teaching works!
Florence has averaged over 300 since beginning…video teaching works!
Columbia is next!
Going to Kenya will be life changing!
I believe God has called our church to pour into a region of Kenya…and because of our surrender there will be a generation of children to receive the Gospel and change that nation!
Yep, it’s $3,500 to go…saw a lot of eyes pop open when I announced that today…
Which is one of the problems in the church today…we want to do something for Jesus that costs us nothing!!!
We cannot be indifferent towards the things of God if His Holy Spirit lives in us!
EASTER is next weekend…do what it takes to get people here…
I promise it is going to be one of the most unbelievable services ever at NewSpring…people are going to meet Christ!!!
God’s just getting started…lots of people still need to meet Jesus! NewSpring Church, hold on to your fork…the best is yet to come!
