Before I say anything else…I want every single one of you to know something…
I LOVE serving Jesus with you!
I BELIEVE God has blessed me with the most incredible team of people on the planet!
I WOULD NOT exchange our staff for any other staff on the planet!
Today (in a few hours) I am boarding a plane and flying to Australia. AND…so many of you were so kind in your willingness to go! (Seriously, I think nearly everyone at some point “volunteered” to “suffer” and go along!)
I started thinking yesterday…while it is true that I am not literally taking everyone of you with me…everyone of you are going to make the trip because…I would not be the leader and communicator that I am today were it not for God allowing me to partner with you guys!
He uses us to sharpen and shape one another! AND I LOVE being on this journey with you! I will charge hell with you…and even walk through it if I have to…all to see Jesus lifted up and hell become less crowded because we existed as a church!
This week (starting tomorrow) I am doing a series of posts about what staff members wished their senior pastors knew…and everyone of these lessons that I learned because of something that I messed up…and yet you guys are gracious enough to let me both lead and learn at the same time.
Thank you for believing in me…and thank you for all that you do for God’s Kingdom through NewSpring Church. Thanks for coming on board and giving this thing a shot. We’re not perfect, but somehow I think that God is smiling on us…NOT because we are His favorite…but because we SERIOUSLY want to see people come to know Him through His Son!
Think about it…there is NO WAY ANY of this could be happening if it were not for the supernatural hand of Jesus!
And…the best is yet to come! I believe our first ten years of ministry are nothing more than Him using us to lay a foundation…and we are about to see some REALLY AWESOME things take place.
He’s just getting started!
