Howdy NewSpring Church, SEVEN things I want to share with you today…
#1 - I’M PUMPED!!! We saw 74 people surrender their lives to Jesus this past Sunday!!! That never gets old!!! One of them was a gentleman whose daughter has been praying for his salvation ever since I’ve known her. Remember…NUMBERS DO MATTER BECAUSE EVERY NUMBER HAS A NAME, EVERY NAME HAS A STORY AND EVERY STORY MATTERS TO GOD!
#2 - I’m ALSO pumped out of my mind that our church wrote down 17,975 names of people that we are praying for and asking God to give us the opportunity to share Christ with and/or invite to church for one of our Easter services. (You can go HERE for service times and to get your free Easter tickets!) I’m praying that we as a church will own the fact that FOUND PEOPLE FIND PEOPLE…and will do all we can to make sure that EVERYONE we know knows about Jesus!
#3 - I’m ALSO pumped (anyone see a trend here) that our Myrtle Beach campus launched with two preview services and had 283 people in attendance! How awesome is THAT?!?!?!
#4 - Remember, God has made His love for us completely obvious. We need to know this because when we go through trials we are often tempted to doubt whether or not He really loves us…but His love and plan for our lives are made known to us in…
- Creation - Psalm 19:1-4 (had a blast making cupcakes in the service…had to be there!)
- The People I Meet - you and I have NEVER met a person by accident. Relationships are intentional, NOT accidental. And…EVERY single relationship we have is for the purpose of sharing Christ!
- The Circumstances I Go Through - Romans 8:28, no matter what you and I go through, HE CAN use it for good!!! He is the only One I know who can take tragedy and turn it into triumph.
- JESUS - Hebrews 1:1-2, you and I should NEVER need to look any further than a blood stained cross and an empty tomb to know the love of God is more real and amazing than anything we could ever imagine. Romans 5:8 - we didn’t deserve salvation…Jesus gave His life anyway!
#5 - Gauntlet registrations are filling up FAST!!! (Go here to sign up!) Parents, I want to say it again…if you sign your teenager up before March 31 it is $275, on April 1st the price increases to $325!!! We fully anticipate it filling up again this year…so…if I were you I would get them registered ASAP. I can promise you it will be THE BEST THING they do this summer!!!
#6 - This coming Sunday is going to be monumental in the lives of so many people. (I wrote about it here yesterday in case you missed it.) I really do believe that we’re going to see lives changed in amazing ways!!!
#7 - Just in case you haven’t figured this out…I LOVE MY CHURCH!!! I can’t believe I get to do what I do!!! We’re on our way to reaching 100,000 every single week which is awesome because…EVER NUMBER HAS A NAME, EVERY NAME HAS A STORY & EVERY STORY MATTERS TO GOD!
